Cleaners should NOT know in advance when these visits are taking place or they may drop standards immediately after one inspection only to pick up again when they know an inspection is due.
Communication channels should be available to enable you to contact cleaning managers quickly easily and that they responsive. You should always be able to contact the cleaning company for any problem. And, they should handle support calls in a manner that assures you that action is being taken.
